Principles of Effective Intervention Training
Training description: Participants will gain an understanding of how the Principles of Effective Intervention (PEI) relates to their work in juvenile justice. Through this training participants will be introduced to the background and research for PEI; able to identify the four primary principles; able to provide an example of a risk, need, and responsivity factor; and distinguish between risk and need.
Audience: Tailored to a variety of audiences including judges, attorneys, probation officers, institutional staff, case managers, and other program staff.

Training description: Participants will gain an understanding of how the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) relates to Georgia and ensure compliance.
Audience: Limited to law enforcement and Department of Juvenile Justice staff
