Training description: Participants will gain an understanding of how the principles of effective intervention (PEI) relates to their work in juvenile justice. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the background and research for PEI; be able to identify the four primary principles, provide an example of a risk, need, and responsivity factor; and distinguish between risk and need.
Audience: This training allows for a maximum of 22 participants and is tailored to a variety of audiences including judges, attorneys, probation officers, case managers, and other program staff.
Duration: One full-day
