DANY Grant

District Attorney of New York – Manhattan Grant (DANY) –

• This award funds the actual testing of SAKs that were part of Georgia’s backlog, as identified in 2016. This grant for $1.9M is allowing the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) to test over 2,000 SAKs.
• GBI is actively testing the backlog of SAKs and then notifying local jurisdictions of those results including any CODIS hits.
