The Georgia Emergency Management Agency and Homeland Security and Georgia Department of Education along with the support of CJCC is committed to increasing school safety by enhancing the current Georgia School Safety Project and offering increased support through training, tools, and technical assistance. The project addresses the needs of schools statewide by GaDOE hiring a project coordinator to oversee the enhancement of the Georgia School Safety Center (GSSC), implementation of trainings, and development of unified templates and website.
