The Victims Compensation Division can pay for Forensic Medical Examinations (FME) and Forensic Interviews (FI). The FME and FI programs cover the costs incurred by providers who work with victims.

School Safety Initiatives and Law Enforcement Training Funding Announcement

Today, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is pleased to announce the release of a grant opportunity to award $4.5 million as part of the Law Enforcement Training Grant Program. Eligible applicants include local and state law enforcement agencies. The program provides funding for training on school safety, use-of-force, de-escalation, and mental health. The funding opportunity will be released on July 15, 2022, and close on August 15, 2022. CJCC will post the solicitation on the Current Funding Opportunities page of CJCC’s website and announce the opportunity through the CJCC Listserv and social media.
