The Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force

The importance of promoting a statewide, multidisciplinary approach to combating all forms of human trafficking is a priority for the Governor’s Office as well as the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC). As a result of that prioritization, CJCC is carrying forward the need for a comprehensive and unified strategy to combat all forms of trafficking by functioning as the coordinating agency for the management of the Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force (Task Force) and other initiatives.

Mission of the Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force

The mission of the Task Force is to protect the citizens of Georgia from perpetrators and systems of exploitation by concurrently working to support professionals in the state to improve efforts to prevent, identify and recognize trafficking, hold offenders accountable, and ultimately support the recovery and rehabilitation of survivors.
