Advocate Service Program

The Advocate Service Program provides support and advocacy for crime victims and technical assistance to victim advocates and victim service providers. The primary focus of this service is to assist victims with completing the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program application, gathering the necessary supporting documentation to submit with an application, obtaining police reports, and assisting victims in appealing claims that have been denied within the 30 day appeal deadline. In addition, the Advocacy Service Program provides community resource information and referrals to programs for services offered at the state and local level.
