1512 Reporting

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("ARRA"; the "Recovery Act") requires sub-recipients of Recovery Act funds to report jobs created/retained, total number of hours worked plus benefit hours paid, and certain vendor information on a quarterly basis ("Section 1512 Data"). This information is submitted directly to the Criminal Justice Coordination Council ("CJCC") through an online reporting system. For further guidance, see the "Sub-Recipient Reporting Guide" and Helpful Resources below.

IMPORTANT NOTICES*
For your city or county to maintain for either State administered (CJCC) or Local Direct funding, a federal DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) number and register with the federal Central Contractor Registration (CCR) must be maintained and renewed yearly.

  • A DUNS number is a unique number that identifies an organization and helps track the distribution of grant money. Obtaining a DUNS number is a free, simple, one-time activity. Obtain one by calling 1-866-705-5711 or by applying online at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform/displayHomePage.do.
  • The CCR is a central repository of organizations working with the federal government. Organizations that have previously submitted applications via Grants.gov are already registered with CCR, as it is a requirement for Grants.gov registration. Please note, however, that applicants must update or renew their CCR registration at least once per year to maintain an active status. Information about registration procedures can be accessed at http://www.ccr.gov. This process can take several weeks, cities and counties are encouraged to register now to meet the application deadline!

*A newly created Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board will conduct and coordinate oversight of covered funds to prevent waste, fraud, and abuse. DUNS and CCR numbers will be used to identify all Recovery Act subgrantees.
