DESCRIPTION:In observation of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October)\,
  Atlanta Victim Assistance\, Inc. (AVA) will be hosting its 5th Annual Dom
 estic Violence Resource Fair which is completely FREE to the public with F
 REE food\, gifts\, and entertainment. This event will feature an array of 
 social services related to domestic violence and education. This event is 
 held to connect victims of domestic violence and their families to resourc
 es that help them overcome victimization and prevent further assault\; to 
 educate and engage the public and provide visitors with resources to assis
 t with transitioning beyond victim to survivor.\n\nThe Domestic Violence A
 wareness Resource Fair has confirmed the participation of organizations th
 at provide direct services to victims of domestic violence or focus on the
  prevention of domestic violence. This largely attended event provides one
  cohesive educational outreach opportunity for visitors and participants t
 o be informed about the resources available to victims of domestic violenc
