The overall goal of the Victims Services Division is to advocate for victims to be informed and educated on services and programs, victims' rights, and the criminal justice system. The primary function of the Victim Services Division is to provide financial assistance to eligible victims of certain crimes that have applied to the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program for assistance. In addition to the Crime Victims Compensation Program, the Victim Services Division administers several other programs for victims, to include:
- DUI Memorial Fund
- Victims Unclaimed Restitution
- Advocate Service Program
